Berkley is a happy, playful boy who loves attention. He is a wonderful house dog and even likes to get in the human bed and snooze. When you snuggle him, he gives gentle love kisses in return. True to the Airedale breed, Berkley is mischievous, active, and playful. He is fit, trim and a very fine dog. His beautiful coat is a soft wheat and he always has a big smile on his face. This sweet, boy has lots of energy and will do well with consistent obedience training. "Berk" is mister snoopy and acts like a puppy getting into things like purses looking for treats. Berkley boards at a local kennel and has bonded happily with everyone there, but he wonders when his forever people will come for him. Visitors say he’s so sweet and just adores attention, love and pets. Berkley wants so much to be with his own people. He craves attention and is so willing and eager to please. Penny comes to ARG through an elderly person who has to go to assisted living. Penny is such an active and youthful dog that when her age was first estimated, it was thought she was 2 or 3 years old! People can't believe she's nine because she has such energy and a zest for playing and running. Because of her activity level, the children of her owner could not keep her because their own elder dogs have handicaps. Penny might have knocked them over in her playing - she loves to have such a good time. She plays with other dogs her size and does very well, although she is the alpha in her dog friend relationships. This sweet nine years young girl-Dale will be a wonderful friend for someone - please email me if you would like to bring Penny home.

Hildi is 6 years old and a beautiful buff tan colored Airedale. She is a petite 50 lbs. Hildi is a bit shy but is becoming more confident each day. She loves going on walks and seeing all the other folks who walk as well as she likes to sniff along the way. Hildi also loves playing with other dogs and she had a very close sister and brother until recently.

Archie loves to play and wrestle with his dog friends. He can get a good chase going in the back yard by encouraging everyone to play. He also walks nicely on a leash. What a perfect 'dale! He loves running and is fast as a bullet. He is polite and includes every dog in play - even the shy dog gets included when Archie is the leader. Archie is a pefect size for cuddling in your lap too. He is about 50 lbs and his coloring is a gorgeous buff tan.

Just look at this handsome boy! In the words of an ARG volunteer who went to visit him: … “ I just got back from visiting Mason and he is a happy guy and a lover. And a big boy! 80 pounds. He desperately wants to be touched. When I knelt down to him he politely put his paw on my knee and gently licked my face. He simply wants to be with you and will definitely be a dog that follows you around the house and will be at your side. He walked beautifully on a simple slip lead with me for 10 minutes or so. Very little pulling, he actually does the "lab lean" while walking so he can be close to you, he didn't come across as a high energy dog. His coat looked great. He just had a bath so he was a huge puff ball. I was very forthcoming in my touch in looking him over, putting my hands all over him and he was in heaven, not a mean bone in his body I'm sure.
